2021 Sunflower Short Stories — Part 3
Check out the rest of the 2021 Sunflower Short Stories: [Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 4]We love watching your kiddos and doggos wander around these sunflower fields during the Sunflower Short Stories. It’s so cute to see the kids take in the tall sunflowers with such awe and excitement. One of the best things this year was that Dix Park added some awesome hammocks under the trees for people to relax on. These ended up being such a nice break from the summer sun, and I KNOW we all need that this time of year! The Smitley Family MiniThe Smitley family is another of Becca's regulars who Ashley has met over the years, and was honored to photograph in the sunflowers while Becca was on maternity leave. Aren’t these kiddos SO stinking cute, y’all?! We had a blast running around the sunflowers together. There is so much sweetness and love in this family. Des & Chad Couple’s MiniYou might remember Des and doggo Sampson's shoot from 2019 in the sunflowers... Well, this year, Des' fiancé Chad joins the fun! First of all, Sampson is such a sweet dog. Can you stand how cute he is amongst the sunflowers?!?!?! Second of all, can we talk about how much we love Chad for Des?! These two have such a sweet love, and I am so excited for all that is to come for these two. The Burton Family MiniWe love love love photographing these Story Photographers regulars. During this family mini though, I realized that Baby B doesn't look so much like a baby anymore, he's looking like a KID! That is one of the interesting things about my job when photographing your kids once or twice a year… I get this particular glimpse at how quickly they grow and change from one shoot to the other. It's a really cool and special thing about my job. Also, shout out to Pickles the pup! We love when the Burton family’s dog joins a shoot — always so cute and compliant with our ideas.
