Commercial Story: NCMA Valentine’s Day Dinner at Iris

The NCMA Valentine’s Day Dinner at Iris is a special tradition for Story Photographers, an event we’ve been part of for seven years! It’s a beautiful evening full of music, delicious food, great art, and love. As part of their experience, couples get to have their photograph taken by us in the galleries with a piece of art of their choosing.I look forward to covering this event every year but, unfortunately, this year I had a massive migraine and had to change plans last minute. Thankfully, Becca was able to jump in and help cover it (and have an unexpected date night with her hubby). This is what is so awesome about having such an incredible team!This is such a fun night of photographing new love with people in new relationships, all the way to marriages that have lasted decades, and the occasional family or friend group showing up together to celebrate that kind of love too. I was disappointed I wasn’t able to be there because this is one of my favorite events to photograph... But, per usual, didn’t Becca do an amazing job!?

Here’s what Becca told me about the event, “I really enjoyed seeing the couples wander through the galleries holding hands and picking out their favorite art piece. I'm so glad I got to experience this fun event!”
