Family Story: The Fanning Family
This momma reached out to have photos made with her two teenagers at the NC Museum of Art. They’re friends of a friend and regular mini session client, and it was such a joy to catch smiles from these big kids with their mom…
Commercial Story: Lindsey Boggs’s Headshots
Lindsey is always good about regularly updating her headshots, but this time she wanted to update them because she won an international business award!! Our clients are the coolest! We did these at the North Carolina Museum of Art, and Lindsey and I were both in LOVE with how they turned out…
Family Story: Couch Extended Family
I’m sure you all recognize this family from many many years of shoots. This is Becca’s longest running mini session client, Mandy! Mandy’s grandparents wanted these made after seeing Mandy’s session and boy did they choose a cool location for this shoot. The Art Museum Grounds gave us many great options for backdrops. We know Mandy’s grandparents will cherish this shoot! If you are ever looking for gift ideas, shoots like this make a great gift, especially for grandparents!
Family Story: Baby H Baptism
You know I love when people create their own way…they create their own events and traditions…they shape what is most meaningful to them. The last time you saw this family on the blog, they were celebrating the baptism of Baby S in the park at the North Carolina Museum of Art. This time we are celebrating with them the baptism of Baby H in their family. This family gathers together family and close friends, out in nature, to set their intentions as parents, family, godparents, and supportive friends to raise Baby H in a particular way within this loving village. Shew! It’s just so beautiful!
Family Story: Lewis Family Shoot at NCMA
Ashley has LOVED photographing the Lewis family as it has grown. Mom Caroline is a fellow creative, so we really appreciate all the ways she is down for whatever during the creative process of a shoot. This family shoot at the NCMA was such a fun, creative one. That golden light was absolute fall perfection!
Family Story: Banks Family Shoot at NCMA
Toward the end of last year, Becca had the pleasure of meeting this cute trio and capturing their family Christmas portraits. They had the best time exploring the grounds of the North Carolina Museum of Art together.
Pro tip: When you’re shooting toddlers, keep it moving and keep it fun! Sunny, James, and little gentleman H did just that! The Banks family snuggled, played, and gave me lots of sweet interactions to capture for their family shoot. Also, can we talk about how adorable they all look in their winter-themed sweaters?! We can’t get enough!
