Wedding Story: Ryan & Phillip: Take Two
Ryan and Phillip have been on a love celebration train for the past two years. After two postponements due to the pandemic, a small backyard wedding, and a vow renewal and blessing for close friends, Ryan and Phillip finally got to celebrate their love with a public ceremony in a park near Transfer Co Food Hall! These two are Story Photographers regulars; Ashley photographed their small backyard wedding as well as their surprise engagement…
Wedding Story: Becky and Ralph
Becky and Ralph had their dream wedding planned for Spring of 2020.... and we all know what happened next. These two scrambled and pulled together a sweet, intimate ceremony in their yard with just a few friends and family, knowing all the while that they still wanted a big celebration when things were safer.
Well they waited and waited, and finally in September of 2021, their big party happened!
Wedding Story: Mary Catherine and Zach
Y’ALL … there is just so much sweetness in these images of this backyard wedding so brace yourself for all the feels!
I first met Mary Catherine when shooting headshots for Three Oaks Behavioral, so I was thrilled when she reached out about her and Zach's wedding.
Can’t you just see how much these two adore each other in every picture?? It’s BEAUTIFUL! And I loved getting to capture their first moments as newlyweds around town in some of their favorite places.
This day was just pure, absolute sweetness!!

Wedding Story: Rachel & Hunter
Becca had two weddings the fourth weekend of October, and Rachel and Hunter’s was the first of the two! Rachel is one of our fave contacts from the NCMA, and we were really excited when this sweet couple reached out about their fall wedding.
Ashley photographed their beautiful engagement portraits but was not available for the wedding day (she was off shooting ANOTHER wedding. haha), so Becca was happy to step in to shoot their special day! They met up with Becca at West Point on the Eno for their first look and portraits, and the water and the woods fit their vibe SO PERFECTLY!
