Wedding Story: Meghan and Kristian

David and I were REALLY looking forward to Meghan and Kristian's wedding.  We had heard about some of the details for their day and we were so struck by how "THEM" this wedding would be.  We so love that in a wedding day!!   A perfect example is Meghan's dress-- this is a dress that one of her closest friends constructed from Meghan's Mom's wedding dress and the lace from one of Meghan's best friend's mom's wedding dress.  How amazing and wonderful is that?!!?!

It rained a lot leading up to the outdoor ceremony so there was a lot of weather checking through out the day...

The ceremony was held at the gorgeous Rock Quarry Garden in Greenville, SC.  What an awesome space!

First time seeing a Unity Cocktail in a ceremony... :)

MARRIED!

Speaking of awesome venues... Meghan and Kristian's reception was held at the oh-so-awesome Huguenot Loft!

With the leftover paper from the flowers and decorations, Meghan had all the kids at the wedding create this amazing canvas for her and Kristian to display in their house.  Love.  it.

David took this next image and he said it makes him tear up a little because of hearing how genuinely excited and honored Kristian felt about getting married to Meghan.  So very sweet.

Musical instrument exit?  YES PLEASE.
