Wedding Story: Lindsey & Laura

Oh these sweet women!  I loved getting to be a part of this thoughtful day!!  When Lindsey first emailed me about photographing their day she told me about how she and Laura, after knowing each other since high school, had their first date at a Brandi Carlile concert during their time at Elon together.  HELLO, Brandi is my FAVORITE.  So from that, and other key details in their email, I just knew that we were such a good match for each other.  And then the day finally came to celebrate with their family and friends (they had been legally married elsewhere before NC got marriage equality).  Their ceremony was so incredibly beautiful and thoughtful (Lindsey is a minister, after all), with the theme of a woven tapestry.  They planned all these different ways for their family, friends, and follow ministers to be involved in celebrating their union.  Following the ceremony everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro (where there was lots of Brandi Carlile on the playlist-yes!).  One of the best parts of my job is that it brings some amazing people into my life that I might not be able to meet otherwise - Lindsey and Laura are some special people, let me tell you.  I am thrilled that they are now client-friends :)
