Wedding Story: Andrew and Matthew

Oh this wedding.  OH THIS WEDDING.  Since Andrew and Matt first reached out to us, we knew this day was going to be special.  I loved having these two in front of my camera as we did their engagement shoot at their alma mater, UNC-CH.  A year after their engagement shoot, we travelled to Washington, DC to shoot their wedding at the Loews Madison Hotel.  Everything had come together perfectly...  Andrew works in the wedding coordinating industry so of course the details were flawlessly executed by the company he works with.  The weather boasted a lovely fall chill in the air.  The schedule was laid out with clarity and precision.  Both Matt and Andrews family and wedding party friends were super helpful and crazy fun, keeping us laughing at all the right opportunities.  These two poured their selves into this day and it showed.  The ceremony was so meaningful.  The reception was STUNNING - delicious food, heart-felt toasts, and a dance party that lasted into the wee hours of the morning.  To top all that, Andrew and Matt were wonderful hosts to all of their guests, including us, their photographers.  It is always our goal to take good care of our couples but these two always made sure to check in on us as well.  Thank you Andrew and Matt for inviting us into such a special day - it was truly an honor!
