Engagement Story: Rachel & Hunter

RS0089s_650I know Rachel through my photography work with the North Carolina Museum of Art, and it was so fun to work with her on capturing her vision for her engagement shoot! Rachel had this vision of Umstead Park, with the red dress, and the winding road with the colorful trees all around. We checked that off first thing during our shoot and then had the best time exploring Umstead.Umstead was the obvious choice for their shoot location because Rachel and Hunter met on an organized hike meetup. Can you even?!?!?!? I know. Despite Rachel not wanting to treat that event as a place to meet a guy, she met a guy... And they talked the entire hike. How sweet is that?!These two were down for all of my suggestions—we hiked a little, they frolicked, laid on giant tree roots, THE USUAL—and quickly became so comfortable in front of the camera. I love that we had SO much fun together behind the scenes and that the final product is this romantic, outdoor shoot. The entire day was some pure fall engagement shoot MAGIC.Congrats on your engagement, Rachel & Hunter!RS0003s_650RS0012s_650RS0017s_650RS0030s_650RS0037s_650RS0042s_650RS0044s_650RS0048s_650RS0051s_650RS0058s_650RS0064s_650RS0069s_650RS0081s_650RS0090s_650RS0099s_650RS0102s_650RS0105s_650RS0111s_650RS0116s_650RS0120s_650RS0127s_650RS0130s_650RS0134s_650RS0138s_650RS0143s_650RS0149s_650RS0153s_650RS0163s_650RS0166s_650RS0167s_650RS0174s_650RS0183s_650
