Family Story: Smith Family Mini Shoot

I am a Raleigh native. When I tell people I’m meeting for the first time, they often say something like, "I've never met a Raleigh native!" I hear we are hard to find.The first five years of my life my family lived in a house that my Dad's great aunts had lived in. It was such a sweet house. One of the things that made it so sweet were the neighbors. Kelly and Katie's family lived right next door and what a dream it was to have someone my age (Katie) to play with!When we moved, we literally just moved around the corner so I still got to stay friends with Katie. I did not know her sister Kelly well because she was "the little sister" (I am the oldest too, and I also grew up with a "little sister" and IYKYK), but I was SO excited to be reunited with her when she reached out for this family mini shoot in her backyard this year. It was so fun to be let into some family inside jokes and tell our own stories about growing up next door to each other. What a treat and fun walk down memory lane!
