What better way to kick off the new year than by gaining a spouse! For the past three years we have booked a wedding on New Years Eve- what better way to party with the people you love!! Tia and Donald’s beautiful day took place at The Carolina Inn- it was still decorated for Christmas and looked absolutely beautiful! David and I had met Tia and Donald a few months before the wedding and were just so impressed by their love for each other and how much fun they have together. Their comfort level together just makes you feel so at ease when you are around them.

Donald is so romantic! The singer for the ceremony was late because her car broke down- Donald did not miss a beat! He jumped right on in and sang a song to Tia that he had sung to her before. It was so precious and there was certainly no dry eye to be seen in the crowd!
Now might be a good time to tell you about Lisa, from Tier Bella. Lisa made this STUNNING cake you see below. When Donald and Tia first met with her I am sure they all had no way of knowing that the cake would not be the end of their partnership! Lisa and her team helped the couple create invitations that matched the cake, dream up all the gorgeous details and then put them into play! Lisa went above and beyond to help make Tia and Donald’s day just gorgeous (and to run smoothly- she coordinated it as well).
The musician whose car broke down finally made it and sang for Tia and Donald at the reception. WOW! Again, not a dry eye…

The images captured takes me back to that special day. That day was one of the best days of my life because not only did I share it with my life partner but all of our friends and family who we adore!
