Y’all, this is Martha’s debut to the SP blog! (YAY). We are so excited that this will be the first of many blog posts for Story Photographers featuring Martha’s work. This year is the first time that someone else on the SP team has needed to cover a Campbell event because I was already booked. Hearing Martha’s experience at this shoot warmed my soul, y’all. She experienced all that makes this place and these people so special to me, and so many others! It brought so much joy to hear about how things went from Martha, so let’s just hear what she has to say about it….

Watch out, there are a whole lot of cute curly ladies in this family… but don’t worry, Dad won’t be totally outnumbered because baby #3 is a BOY! If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve seen this family come together and grow. If you haven’t, read more to find some past shoots with them, and see what fun took place at the end of this one!

What do you do when you get a request to shoot cookies and treats for a small business baker, but don't have any recent shoots to show you can do the work? You create the content…

Spring is here! The trees are starting to bloom, leaves are filling back in. What a beautiful time of year to get your headshot done - it’s not too cold, not too hot (who are we kidding, it’s NC, who knows what the temperature will be). Both Becky and Charity took advantage of the newness of spring in their headshots and we love how they turned out!

You could also have us come out to your office or even a work conference to grab quick headshots of your team, as you see we did here for a leadership team at Merz during their retreat. We dodged some spring showers for these!

You might remember seeing these sweet Dads last on the blog on their wedding day when they got chased by dinosaurs at the Museum of Life and Science. Now they have precious baby F in their world… and she’s already turning one year old!

This baby decided to skip her nap that afternoon so she had her dads skeptical of how she would tolerate a photoshoot but look at this girl! She was the absolute Queen of downtown Durham, waving to all her adoring fans, making intense eye contact with every dog that walked by, and very easily offering up that huge smile.

We could not stop giggling because it was all just too adorable. Happy first birthday, Baby F! Good work, Dads!
