Fun fact: Ashley and Bobby were Becca’s last “normal” wedding before the Covid-19 pandemic changed the wedding game. She was thrilled to see them again and meet their little girl, Baby K!

At the time of her newborn shoot, this little nugget was 10 weeks old and was such a good model. She put up with all the position and outfit changes like a pro. And grandma picked a special outfit for her new granddaughter, so you know Becca had to get those photos! We also got to incorporate the high energy family pup in the family photos! He joined the whole family for porch photos between zoomies around the yard. See, even the Truskowski’s dog is excited about their newest family member!

We feel so honored when y’all refer your friends and family to us; shout-out to Lindsey Boggs (whose family is a regular around here) for this referral! This engagement shoot with Mary Scott and Matthew was such a sweet shoot.

The couple took Ashley to this really cool little place by the water, behind their neighborhood for this shoot. For the shoot, Mary Scott really wanted to capture their special bond with their dog Charlie. They had such a good time walking around, celebrating the two of them and their sweet dog.

Becca has had the joy of photographing all of the Beeson kiddos as newborns, so she was so happy to shoot Baby B after his arrival! This shoot was actually her first shoot after her own baby, Hazel, arrived. Technically, Becca was still on maternity leave at the time of this shoot, but she just couldn’t miss the opportunity to photograph Baby B for them. What can we say?! We love those precious newborns, y’all!

These kiddos always blow us away with how sweet and kind they are to each other. We love the way they cuddled their new baby brother… Especially big sis Lila! You can tell this whole family is just so in love with their newest family member.

Over the years, Ashley has gotten to know Tara and Jared, especially through their involvement at All Stories Church. This sweet couple has been hoping for this little one for a very long time. It has not always been easy, but Baby G is here now! And these two as parents?? Truly the sweetest ever. It's really fun to watch them so naturally assume the roles of mom and dad. 

We also absolutely love that they incorporated their beloved dogs and garden (which they should be very proud of) in their newborn shoot. Those personal touches in a shoot are always so nice to look back on over the years.

Kelly’s 40th birthday is GOALS. Seriously, goals all around! This incredible woman planned her own 40th birthday celebration (which we LOVE), and the whole thing was absolutely delightful! 

The party was held at Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill, NC. This enchanting little farm is an actual working lavender farm. It’s such a unique place that’s available to book for weddings and special events… Like 40th birthday parties! ;) One of coolest things about the party was every course of the meal had lavender infused or incorporated somehow. There was even a lavender infused beer for the guests to enjoy! Also, everyone was welcome to go cut some lavender to take home with them. Isn’t that such a lovely touch to remember the night?!

Last year, in the midst of 2020, Leah, Mary Delaney, and grandmother Mary escaped to the mountains for a little getaway. They had Becca come along with them and capture a slice of their mountain adventures. They all had such a great time that she was stoked when they asked her to come back on their Boone, NC trip this year!
