Wedding Story: Morgan and Dustin
Morgan has been one of my most enthusiastic brides ever (you can see the two times she and Dustin have been on the blog here). I have loved working with her since we did a family shoot with her a few years ago involving her, Dustin and their precious puppies. I was honored to be one of the first emails Morgan sent when they got engaged, making sure they picked a date we were available to shoot the wedding. All along the way she trusted our professional opinion and were so easy to work with. That is absolutely the hugest compliment to us! Both the ceremony and reception were held at the Sheraton in downtown Raleigh, giving us lots of places for pictures before the ceremony. Morgan and Dustin did a first look, and proved my point that the first look doesn't take away from the moment you walk down the aisle to each other, it only enriches it. You can see, Morgan's brother walked her down the aisle and it was more emotional than the first look. It made me tear up seeing that moment again while I was editing it. Morgan is a teacher and she had promised her class last year that they could "be at the wedding" by having their pictures on a board, at the wedding. Her class even threw her a mini wedding, Dustin showed up to her classroom, surprising her with her reception dress and veil. That tells you Morgan's heart for the people she cares about and how excited she was to marry Dustin -- it was even contagious to her students and they had to get in on the wedding action themselves. Isn't it wonderful when joy and excitement are contagious??
