Wedding Story: Marie and Daniel

Marie and Daniel's wedding day was just so beautiful.  Love is beautiful.  Southern homes are beautiful.  Blue skies are beautiful.  Brides aglow are beautiful.  Beaming grooms are beautiful.  You get the point :)  You can check out Marie's bridal and their NYC engagement shoot, already on the blog.  Marie and Daniel got married at Oak Grove, this stunning 1800's residential home that served as a hospital during the Civil War.  It is currently being restored for tours and event rentals.  This wedding was the first event that had been hosted at Oak Grove.  This house is amazing!

Had to allow in a little southern drama...

Marie made this:

STUNNING!

There were so many moments that were tear-jerkers through out the day...

... and many good laughs.

Marie's Dad had me flat out crying at this moment.  Marie was arriving in this amazing Model A car.  As it came down the road carrying his daughter he Dad  caught his breath and said "have you ever seen anything so beautiful?"  Oh man it got me good!!

Sometimes on your wedding day you have to just go with the flow-- in this case, trying to keep unity candles lit with the wind blowing, not happening.  So Marie and Daniel just faked it-- its the symbolism that matters anyways!

Marie has such a dynamic personality.  While setting up this shot with Daniel's immediate family she has the whole crowd enthralled with a story-- who would turn down capturing this moment?

The light fixture above their head was original to the home when it received gas electricity.  I kind of like that the house wasn't quite finished with renovations on the inside...

How I (Ashley) saw this moment:

How David saw this moment:

Marie was a cheerleader in high school and college... I'm impressed they all remembered part of a routine together!

Marie and Daniel!!  I had the hardest time picking blog pictures... I just wanted to put them all on the blog for everyone to enjoy.  You had so much love and meaning through out your wedding day- it was an honor to be a part of it all!!
