Wedding Story: Kyle and David

May is a big month for us so why not kick it off with a big 'ol blogpost from May's first SP wedding!  Kyle booked with us forever ago, and along the way she would send me little details about their wedding... lots of DIY projects... tons of goodies from etsy.com .... you KNOW that makes me giddy!  Kyle and David both spent time in Japan teaching so there were tons of Japanese traditions and influences (and friends!) that showed up in their wedding.

The Dress is from Etsy... love it.

Kyle and David wanted to make sure they got "traditional Japanese portraits"- very serious.

Doesn't this look like a woman who just got married?!

Um HELLO AMAZING NACHO BAR!!!!  David used to work with the company that catered, "Catering By Design", and they did an AMAZING job with the food.  So delicious.  And the staff was awesome. Win and Win.

Kyle's Mom made TONS of different kinds of cakes, pies, etc.  The dessert table was just incredible.

The newly weds with their friends visiting from Japan :)

In Japan they do not do bouquet tosses... instead the bride attaches prizes (money, gift cards, etc) to ribbons, and then all the single girls pull ribbons.  The biggest prize is attached to the bouquet still.  Kyle put awesome gift cards on her bouquet ribbons=happy girls!

Japanese karaoke sing along!

Kyle and David: Thank you so much for inviting us into your beautiful beach wedding!  We hope you all had the best time with your friends and family hanging around the beach this week.  I ADORED your amazing details and food and colors and EVERYTHING!
