Wedding Story: Kristina and Jeremy

If you love an awesome DIY, backyard wedding then you are about to be in heaven.  Kristina and Jeremy got married in Kristina's parent's yard... with over 500 guests in attendance!  They had so many amazing, DIY details that I could have a blogpost on those alone.  If I had pulled together this event and then needed to make sure 500+ people were taken care of for the day, I would be at least a little stressed out.  Kristina was so chill... she let other people's crazy energy just roll right off her back-- I was so impressed at how she just let the day's awesomeness soak right in.

The reception site...

After thinking about the magnitude of have over 500 people on the grounds during the day, Kristina and Jeremy decided to see each other before the ceremony to complete as many formal pictures as they could.

(read with a southern accent) Y'all know I LOVE a bride on a hay bale!!

I adored the way Kristina set up the ceremony section.  They had a family friend build a door to enter the space, two windows to "enclose" the sides, and then a beautiful altar at the front.  Stunning in this big field....

Drinks in mason jars with paper straws, homemade desserts from their closest family and friends...

There was something for everyone to enjoy :)

It is a tradition for the firefighters to get dunked on their wedding day...

... and floured.

I love this brother and sister moment...

For their exit, Jeremy and Kristina had sparklers for the guests and lanterns for the bridal party to release.  It was just beautiful.

Kristina and Jeremy!  We could have blogged about your wedding all day.  The hard work you put into it really paid off-- what a beautiful, meaningful day!  It was an honor to be a part of it all!!
