Wedding Story: Krista & Evan

When Becca and I compared calendars a few weeks ago, we noticed we both had courthouse weddings in the same week! Such a fun coincidence! I'll let her share her experience shooting Krista and Evan's weekday wedding:I have photographed Krista and her daughter, Davis, since Davis was an infant. When she met Evan and his daughter Elise, they soon became part of the photo sessions as well. I even got to photograph their surprise engagement!They decided that a courthouse wedding was more their speed than a big traditional wedding, so a few weeks back, myself, Krista’s best friend, the happy couple and their girls all met up downtown and got them married! It was my first time to photograph a courthouse wedding, and it was so cool. I love when couples make their union exactly what they want!

Afterward, we shot some fun photos in the park and nearby streets and it was so relaxed. There was no timeline to keep, or guests kept waiting. I’m so grateful they invited me to be a part of their special day.Congrats Krista and Evan!
