Wedding Story: Kelli & Bailey

In May, we had three weddings scheduled for the same day, so we had to call in some reinforcements. Charity shot this small, beautiful wedding for Kelli and Bailey along with Roy, so I thought it would be appropriate for her to tell you about their day.

Kelli and Bailey had a beautiful intimate wedding day and their Canterbury School wedding photos definitely show it. During a short and poignant speech, Bailey shared that she was worried that planning a small and intimate wedding filled with details and purposes unique to them would mean that they were doing all their wedding planning wrong but that she was glad she was proved wrong.Those details included: Bailey wearing her mother's gown, tailored to fit her and her style, to carry the hope of her mother's wedding day into her own. The food was prepared and staffed by a business that teaches students culinary skills for job training at a shelter. Their flowers were from the local farmers market, and their friends were from everywhere and eager to share in the happiness and excitement of the day.Kelli and Bailey are deep thinkers, honoring God in their actions and hopes for those around them. Their wedding and the details demonstrated their commitment to community development, the local economy, and the idea that marriage is serious business.
