Wedding Story: Katie & Sean

I was excited about this wedding from the first email I got from Katie. These two have the sweetest love. The first story they shared with me about their time dating was a trip Sean surprised Katie with to the beach, and it was cold and rainy all weekend. Sean was so worried Katie would be disappointed but she said she had the best time just wandering around coffee shops and little stores, not caring what they did. Katie said, "you know when someone is the right person for you when you’re happy to wander about with no plans and just see where life takes you.”Their wedding was held at their friend's incredible property in Hillsborough, Pickard Mill. Katie shared with me ahead of time that there would be a ceremony, dinner, barefoot dancing in the grass, and s'mores around the fire pit to end the evening. Doesn't that paint such a good picture of the vibe they were going for? This was one of those weddings that was truly a joy to be a part of. Katie and Sean really infused the day with who they are, who and what is important to them, and set the tone for the laid back, joyful vibe that was palpable.Congrats, Katie & Sean!
