Wedding Story: Katie and Mitch

Katie and Mitch have such a sweet love- it is so fun to be around them!  They had a beautiful wedding day full of Christmas cheer and love from their family and friends.  I have to plug Tia of The Perfect Plan- I had never worked with Tia before and she was awesome!  She took very good care of Katie and Mitch and totally trusted us to do our job.  The ladies at Makeup For Your Day did a beautiful job with hair and makeup for all the ladies- super great to work with, professional and very sweet.

If you are a November or December wedding, take note of when the sun sets!  Either plan to see each other  before the ceremony or know that you might not get shots outside.  I had Katie and Mitch walk down the aisle and straight outside to grab a few shots as the sun was disappearing...

We went back in for family shots, came back out to a beautiful deep blue sky.  On our way to the reception we stopped at this precious tree lot at Lafayette Village.  How much do you love this!?  And the owner of the tree lot, Shannon, was so awesome and was thrilled we chose his lot.  I could post from this part of the day a ton- I will keep myself controlled.

Oh hey Erin and Burke!  I think they are at every other wedding we shoot!

It's rare when the bride and groom actually get to finish their cake...

Katie and Mitch: Thank you so much for letting us be a part of your sweet wedding day!  I hope your honeymoon, including your first Christmas married, was relaxing and refreshing!!  See you in the new year!!
