Wedding Story: Carolyn and Wes
Here at Story Photographers we have always loved our self proclaimed "blog stalkers". Some of these "stalkers" will have followed our blog three or four years before they have an event for us to cover for them. We are so incredibly honored to have these loyal stalkers. Carolyn is one of these stalkers and I know it must have brought her great distress to hear that we were going to be gone for a week after her wedding, delaying her very own wedding blog post. Thank you so much for waiting, Carolyn! Here it is!!!Carolyn and Wes are just so fun-loving and care-free. When I heard their wedding day was all taking place at Marbles it totally made sense to me! They had so many details through out their day that were just so THEM. I love that in a wedding day.
I love the look on Carolyn's face after first seeing her bridal hair and makeup together. I think she loved it!
This garter was Carolyn's grandmother's from her wedding, and there is a penny in the pocket with the year of her grandmother's wedding, her parents wedding, and now her own wedding. How much did I love that? A ton.
Love some sweet first look moments. Carolyn and Wes said they were so glad they chose to do a first look because it relieved the anxiety that was building up to get to be together.
Carolyn wanted her and her girls to have a "Sex and the City" walking moment...
... when we weren't looking, the guys did it too!
Wes' true colors:
Carolyn's parent's wedding day:
Sometimes you just need a hot dog on your wedding day.
How many marriage metaphors can you spot in this picture?
One of Carolyn's bridesmaids heard that if you put your finger under your nose when you think you are about to cry, it will make the impending cry stop. I don't know if it worked but it made for funny moments.
Wes and Carolyn's aisle runner was a timeline of their relationship, starting with their first date and ending with their wedding day, which was right where they stood during the ceremony.
Oh hey, Alison and Elliot! Remember their engagement session? Well you will see their wedding, shot by April, on the blog in August!
Carolyn and Wes, what an amazing day you had! It was so much fun to be a part of such a joy filled day. Thank you for the honor!!
