Wedding Story: Arlen & Daniel

We first met Arlen at the Cupcake Shoppe Bakery where she worked as their beloved front of house manager before leaving to live out of the country for a little while. The thing about Arlen and Daniel is that they’re both effortlessly chill and cool that you can’t help but want to be around them. Their wedding at the Merrimon-Wynne House in Raleigh fit their vibe perfectly.Rebecca and I LOVED all the details of their special day because they were on trend but so Arlen and Daniel. Arlen is obsessed with Beyonce, and Daniel serenaded her at their reception. They even gave mixed CDs as their wedding favors - so sweet! Arlen’s sister performed their ceremony, and her stepdad built the copper arbor where they said I do. When I look back on that day, I just remember feeling calm. I wasn't stressed, I wasn't flustered. It was such an easy day - from arriving to the venue to getting ready to walking down the stairs towards the lawn. Now, that all changed as soon as I saw the crowd, but I think that's normal. People often say that marriage changes things - but what I love about being married to Daniel is that nothing changed. Maybe that's why I felt so calm that day.
