Wedding Story: Amanda and Trevor

A&Twedblog-0001

So my little sister got married.  You might remember Amanda and Trevor's engagement shoot at Lake Wheeler.  Well these two continued with the trend of highlighting their love for being in nature when they chose the super wonderful Willow Pond Farmstead for their wedding day.  Amanda has always LOVED animals and Willow Pond is home to many rare and endangered species of farm animals - she would have been just as happy to hang out with the animals on her wedding day as she would her guests ;)  So many people asked me if we were shooting my sister's wedding and I am so honored to have a friend/associate like April to cover this beautiful day for me and my family.  April!!  Thank you so much for your hard work on my sister's wedding day.  Your work is beautiful and we are so thrilled you are part of our tribe!

Amanda's wedding was very DIY and only came together with the hard work and help of our friends and family.  We are SO grateful for their help!  (I am looking at you: Leah, Casey, Martie, Mom, Joyce, Big David, Megan, etc)

David got to play all the music for the ceremony...

Being the little sister of a wedding professional, Amanda never thought twice about choosing to do a first look.

See?  Amanda just wanted to hang out with the animals...

We were all SO THRILLED at how the bridesmaids dresses turned out together.  We each chose our vintage fabric for our custom dress by the awesome Louise of Soho Mode.

This is our sweet Granny, my Mom's stepmom and our only living grandparent.  She has the best sense of humor and hates having her picture taken... which is tough to avoid when your granddaughter is a photographer.

Amanda requested that David and I sing a song together, and she chose "When the Right One Comes Along" from the show Nashville.

And there she is.  Mrs. Leah Reed.  Our fearless director and planner for the weekend.
