Social Story: AMF Spring Soiree

This past weekend we chose to support a cause that was new to us-- The Students of AMF network.  This is a network in colleges around the country that provides support for students that are grieving the illness or death of a loved one.  We were asked to take part in their Spring Soiree which raises money for this national network, providing photo coverage of the event.  The event was beautiful!  It was held in the super fabulous Stockroom at 230, which I am super in love with.  And, hello, Cafe Luna catered the event- DELICIOUS!  The always classy "Back 'N Time" kept everyone movin'!

You are looking at real Dogwood branches, saved from a tree that had been cut down.

The event also included a silent auction, live auction and a raffle.  There were SO many different items to be bid on to raise money for AMF!

This is only a glance at all the yummy food that Cafe Luna provided...

The founder of Students of AMF, David Fajgenbaum, was around the whole evening with a huge smile on his face and doing all he could to help raise money and awareness for the cause.

Two students from a Florida chapter of AMF shared their stories about finding comfort in AMF.

Oh hey Paola and Wes!!  Always love bumping into you around Raleigh :)
