Goodbye 2010::Welcome 2011
What an adventure it is to own your own business. It is quite the roller coaster ride-- you get to do what you love, you are your own boss, you pay lots of taxes (all the time it feels like), you have to be self motivated, you get the satisfaction of succeeding, you have to clean up your own messes when you make them, etc and so on. It's not for everyone but let me tell you... WE LOVE IT.2010 was such an amazing year. We shot all over our beautiful state of North Carolina as well as in five other states. Our blog got a new home with a new look! And WOW, some how we always get to work with the most fabulous people. From brides and grooms on their wedding day, families in the park, ladies in lingerie, other vendors in preparation for a wedding day--we've met and worked with the best!As we continue to grow, 2011 brings some new types of growth for Story Photographers. There will be more adventures shooting in new (to us) locations with both new and returning clients. This is a huge thing for us: You will see the addition of a few new story tellers this year, not just David and I (Ashley)! So much to be excited about as we change our 2010 calendars to 2011.I will leave you with a few sneak peeks. We ended up with three weddings the week of Christmas and New Years... here a few images to close 2010 with before we blog these weddings in 2011!
