Ashley G. has been dreaming about having her own salon for awhile and now it's finally happening in downtown Smithfield, NC! Welcome, Huckleberry & Co. salon! Ashley had the best time shooting their new headshots and brand photography for marketing of their newly renovated salon. How much are we loving all the plants and natural light?! How cute is this merch from fitRDU?! Ashley always has a blast photographing this crew, and this mini shoot for their new merchandise was another fun one. The fitRDU team wanted some marketing photos to use on social media and their website to showcase the t-shirts and tank tops they had available for purchase.

The weight of all the big, heavy things happening in the world right now can feel so overwhelming... Add on to that the things we’re experiencing at a personal level. Shew! It’s a lot. That’s why we’re so thankful Three Oaks Behavioral Health and Wellness exists. Their incredible staff cares so much about showing up for and helping their clients. Every single one of their staff members I have met to take a headshot for has been such a delight to talk to!

Pablo is one of my regular clients, but this time around Becca was excited to step in and photograph him in his home studio! Pablo does amazing sound recording and engineering, and he has gotten some pretty cool professional recognition for his work.

I loved getting to hangout with Melissa at her home to talk and take headshots for her therapy practice, Blue Monkey Counseling. I really enjoy getting to work with so many therapists and talking about photographing them. There is so much psychology in photography, and so much that a headshot can tell someone about you before they even meet you. In the end, we were able to capture a bunch of versatile looks with different backgrounds for Melissa to use based on her needs.
