Family Story: Weeks Extended Family

This was a fun one for so many reasons. The last time you saw any of this crew on the blog would have either been when Baby W was born or the most recent Newman Family shoot. You want to know how I know this crowd? You know me, it’s a good one! So the patriarch of this family, Michael, is my Dad’s first cousin. So this is extended extended family, y’all!

This shoot was a surprise Christmas present for the matriarch of the family, when everyone was going to be all in one place at one time for a baby shower. Spoiler alert, the next time you see any of this crowd on the blog, it’s because there has been a new addition to the family (check back for Baby M’s newborn shoot).

The family gathered on family land to do pictures all together, of each family group, all the kids, and so many other combinations. They also had the idea to take the original nuclear family and redo a beloved formal family picture, now that they are all grown! That is always fun to mark time that way. I loved laughing with this extended family of mine during their shoot.
