Family Story: UNC Maternity Shoot

Y’all, how sweet is this UNC loving couple?! They were super fun to work with for their maternity shoot around Chapel Hill. The love they have for UNC, Chapel Hill, and it's campus runs deep… and goes back several generations. You'll see cameos of several beloved UNC spots, including the Old Well and the Davie Poplar. The mama-to-be told me that her grandparents would go on milkshake dates at Sutton's (as seen in their pictures)! I told you, the love for UNC runs DEEP for these alumni.We also celebrated this father-to-be's graduation by capturing some photos of him in his cap and gown, so that was a fun, extra detail for this couple. Especially since he didn't get to wear his cap and gown anywhere else because of COVID-19. I told him it might be some good PPE while grocery shopping... but maybe that's just me. ;)

Mama sent me this sweet note after our shoot, "Thank you again, Ashley! Saturday was incredible and one of the few “normal”-feeling things we’ve gotten to enjoy this last trimester!"

HOW SWEET. GAH.The best part? Since our shoot, their precious little has arrived and everyone is healthy and happy! I can't wait to photograph the newest member of their family.
