We LOVE the Brown Family!  They are a couple that has been with us since before we were Story Photographers.  I shot their engagement shoot in June 2007, Annie’s bridal in February 2008 and their wedding in March 2008 (scroll to the end of those post to see images from their ’07 engagement shoot).  You might also recognize Annie from her sister Hillary’s wedding that April shot in May 2011.  We love the Revels and the Browns!  We were so excited to head to Winston-Salem to spend some time photographing this family… and to finally meet their daughter, Amerys

Amerys is at that age that I swear is the hardest to photograph… sometimes I feel like we are all tap dancing and running around to get a few smiles.  Amerys gave us some beautiful moments…

… but also let us know there were more interesting things going on, like a field of horses!  Look!

We seemed to have some of the same elements for their family shoot as we did for their engagement shoot- green trees and grass, split rail fence, farm in the background.  We are so thankful that Annie and Jay gave us a chance so early on in our business’ life.  Some of the editing we did for their shoots is straight embarrassing- it’s a miracle they still like us!  Never before seen on the internet, four images from Annie and Jay’s engagement shoot in June 2007:
