E&R501 Becca and Ashley LOVED photographing this sweet mountain wedding! There were some epic views, crazy cool airplane fly-bys and SO MUCH LOVE. We first met Rebecca at Julie and Gian's wedding. Rebecca and Eric met online and after talking for about a month, they had "the longest first date ever" clocking in at about 8 hours.Rebecca reports that "we met for an early dinner, drove around the Durham (he hadn't been there before), went to a haunted forest/hayride (where he apparently took me so that I would be scared and would be forced to hold his hand...sneaky, right?) and then since we weren't ready for the date to end, we went to RDU and watched planes take off and land while we just chatted and got to know each other."Eric has had a love of planes since childhood, thanks to his dad. He turned that love of planes into a career because he studied aerospace (and oceanic) engineering at Virginia Tech and now works as an engineer for an aerospace company.These two planned to have these amazing paper airplanes thrown at them for their exit, but what they didn't plan was an airplane flying by their portrait time, so low that you could see the pilot wave at us! It was that kind of a magical day! E&R003

"Our wedding day was the most beautiful day filled with love, laughter, and fun. Almost all of the most important people in our lives were able to be there with us. And for us, it wasn't just about the day, but about the whole weekend full of time spent with family and friends. There is no way to explain how grateful we are that our family and friends took the time to be with us for this very special time in our lives. It was the wedding of my dreams, marrying the best and sweetest man I know, and I think it became Eric's wedding of his dreams when we had the airplane fly by after the ceremony. Haha. No, but seriously, that couldn't have been better timed. Thank you so much for the work that you and Becca did to capture all of the beautiful moments."
