Wedding Story: Katie and Chip

 Sweet sweet Katie and Chip.  Katie is the type of person whose sweetness just radiates - her smile is so bright and contagious.  Chip has a more understated sweetness - as the wedding day went on I learned more and more things that Chip had done behind the scenes to show his family and friends love.  It must run in the family, as Chip's grandma gave him a six pence before she died for him to give to his future bride.  Katie never got to meet her, but got to carry a reminder of her with her all day through that six pence in her shoe.  Katie has three brothers and Chip has three sisters - I love stuff like that.  Chip surprised his Mom and his sisters with jewelry of their own after Katie got her gift.  That's a sweet man right there!  Katie and Chip had an awesome band play their reception at the New Bern Golf and Country Club and they both got behind the microphone to sing along with the band - their guests went wild over their performances and encouraged them up several more times.  The bouquet and garter tosses were right before the exit (which showed that they are a house divided over NC State and Carolina loyalties) and Katie whispered to me "I am having the best time EVER!  This is seriously the best night EVER!!"   Katie I am so glad your day was all you wanted it to be and more :)
