Wedding Story: Ashley & Gian

There was a tenderness to this wedding day... a sweet tenderness.  Ashley and Gian met ballroom dancing - I mean, hello romantic story (you last saw Ashley on the blog when she was celebrating her time at UNC)!  Their wedding took place at the super cool annex of the Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington.  You know I LOVED this space. Both of these love birds have gentle, incredibly kind souls and that energy carried through out the day.   This was also one of those weddings where we are reminded that sometimes weddings still go on when things are not ideal in your family life.  But you choose to dance and hug and show up anyways, even when it's hard and complex.  They also choose an amazing line up of vendors that were caring and compassionate and kind, including Orchid Island Events running the show.  I admire Ashley and Gian deeply and was truly honored to be their photographer.
