Wedding Story: Amanda and Josiah
We L-O-V-E-D Amanda and Josiah's wedding day. These two took great care to have their day infused with THEM. This is not a generic wedding that could work for any couple... this was Josiah and Amanda specific, which is my favorite kind of wedding! Their entire day was held at The Carolina Inn. Tia from Erin McLean Events did a lovely job managing the day! These two had already tied the knot in a small family ceremony when it looked like Amanda's brother would be deployed during the wedding. As it turned out, her brother got to be here for the big wedding day ... and he was quite the dapper Man of Honor for his sister! Amanda and Josiah have travelled a lot - they did most of their wedding planning from Egypt. Being a librarian it was easy for them to check out over 100 books to use for table decor. Now these weren't just any 100 books. Their wedding favors were donations to their favorite charities. Each table represented a different charity, and it's books reflected that charity subject. LOVE IT. Details that truly spoke to who they are, really close family and friends. How could it get any better?!
Stop it. The table seating arrangements were listed on library check out cards. So perfect.
When you see a stranger with a cute dog on your wedding day, you must ask to be photographed with it.
The Old Well... a Carolina Grad must.

David's View:
Amanda get outta' here with that gorgeous head piece from Bhldn. OMG.
And then and then! These two played lovely music AND sang "Wagon Wheel" as Amanda and Josiah walked back down the aisle together.
Amanda's Dad was so sweet officiating the wedding himself!
As I mentioned before, Amanda and Josiah were technically already married. They had friends share quotes about love in many different languages. It was BEAUTIFUL! Then they shared promises with each other before sealing this second ceremony with a kiss.
We LOVE working with Randy from Joe Bunn DJs - his years of experience always keep the reception flowing smoothly and the party always moving.
The Carolina Inn knows how to make some shrimp and grits, y'all!
Amanda started out with a sweet dance with her Dad.... that then led into a flash mob to "Safety Dance".
