Love Story: Kim and Matt

I love it when couples decide that they want to do a shoot, just because.  You don't always need a special occasion as an excuse to get you and your loved one(s) in front of the camera.  This summer Kim and Matt have been married for 8 years now and they wanted to do a photo shoot at the site of their reception, the Borden House.  It rained on their wedding day, so they were not able to get many pictures around the house and the park it is located in.  I was more than happy to meet Kim and Matt at this gorgeous location that was new to me.  It is amazing how many interesting spots are tucked away inside the Raleigh city limits.

Kim and Matt wanted me to not only capture how much they love each other, but also how much fun they have together.  As you will see, I am confident that I was able to witness both qualities in their relationship :)

Silly?  They can do silly.  Chicken racing.  Matt was on top of offering silly ideas.

These two TOTALLY jumped in the bushes-- while I was still processing the fact that they said they were going to jump in the bushes.
