Family Story: Kelly Family Maternity Mini Shoot

The Kelly family is in a new house just in time to welcome a third baby into the world! I had the joy of photographing their older kids newborn shoots, and I am so excited to photograph their new bundle of joy when baby arrives.I had planned to photograph them outside at their new house, but the weather had other plans for us as the rain moved in on our shoot (as you can see in the first couple of pictures). Their new home was buzzing with celebration and anticipation of the newest baby. But there was also a tinge of sadness, as they knew they were about to say goodbye to their beloved dog of many years. Their sweet dog had not been doing well for awhile, and has passed away since this shoot. I am so glad we were able to hold all those emotions in tension during this shoot and capture this special moment in time for them.And, guess what?! New baby has arrived and we’ll be sharing that newborn shoot on the blog soon.
