Engagement Story: Sarah and Chris

Oh my goodness... it is SO much fun to have life friends in front of my camera!  I have known Sarah since high school.  Her smile and personality can light up a room- and this girl has never met a stranger.  Sarah sees the good in people and is such an amazing friend.  As childhood friends often do, we had let adulthood carry us our separate ways, always keeping up with one another though.  When I hear she was engaged to Chris I was SO excited-- even though I had never met Chris, I knew Sarah would say "YES!" to someone completely perfect for her.  Well Chris, you've passed the test.  I think you are wonderful for Sarah and we are so thrilled to be shooting your wedding in November!

Chris and Sarah met at a show at the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh- some of Sarah's older brother's friends introduced these two and the rest is history.  We began the shoot where they began as a couple...

During the outfit change we experienced the rain that had been threatening us... but luckily the weather decided our shoot should go on!  Luck seemed to be on our side that day. Sarah was talking about how she is secretly obsessed with Raleigh Rickshaws and as we rounded the corner there was an empty rickshaw, just looking for someone to give a ride.

Sarah has always had the most fun personality and we started laughing about how this pose...

... makes you think of this pose (looks like Chris is fun too!)...

Sarah and Chris decided to wrap up the shoot at the sushi place where they had their first date.  Sarah laughed about how she had never had sushi before and when trying to figure out how to use the chopsticks just gave up and speared her sushi.  It was fun to hear them reminisce about their first date!

Sarah and Chris we cannot wait until your wedding!  Is it November yet?? ;)
