Wedding Story: Julia and Stephen

Between the family shoots and weddings, I feel like David and I need to start showing up to holidays with Julia's family.  We just love this family so much.  They are so much fun and we instantly feel comfortable around them.  It was truly an honor to join Julia and Stephen for their family only Tuesday wedding ceremony at Mordecai Historic Park (we love shooting at Mordecai).  When I said on Facebook that I was shooting a Tuesday wedding, another bride of ours mentioned how awesome it would be to turn a regular 'ol wintery Tuesday into an incredibly special day.  I agree.  Stephen had a sweet first look with his daughter that brought him to tears.  It's a beautiful thing to watch a new step-mom fix her new daughter's hair... and then to turn around and have her Mom fix her hair… without noticing the mirror image happening.  Julia's Dad and brother-in-law officiated the service and both families "warmed" and blessed the rings.  They make the case strong for small, stress free weddings!
