Wedding Story: Jessica & Adam, Part 1

Jessica and Adam found us through the magical world of Facebook through a series of connections.  I got this email describing what sounded like an AMAZING wedding, with the question of whether Story Photographers would travel to Vermont.  Heck yeah we'll travel to Vermont! So Jessica and Adam have been working on all these incredible DIY projects for this wedding all year.  It was so clear that this wedding had their creative touch all over it- everything was so meaningful yet fun.  These two have only been together for under two years but you would think they have known each other all their lives.  Their love is an easy love- there's no anxiety in it, they are comfortable and confident in their love.  David and I really love getting to be around them so much.  I got this email from Jessica last night...

"While you're working on our blog posts, we're working on finding the words to express the immense gratitude we feel for your willingness and eagerness to be a part of our wedding story. Adam and I truly feel as though you and David are a kindred couple, and the energy that flowed through both of you made our wedding day all the richer. You are truly an inspiration to us, and we can only hope to be partners to one another in the ways that you and David have grown to be during your years of marriage (and dating, and business-owning!). In addition to your incredible work, it felt good to have some extra positive relationship karma traveling through the day with us. We were beyond excited to meet you, and now we're beyond excited to know you! We're already talking about making North Carolina a vacation destination for our future family, just so we can have you chronicle our lives through the years. We'll bring props! We look forward to remaining in touch and watching your work evolve as the business moves forward. Rest assured that our friends will be hearing about you as soon as we learn of engagements, babies, and other possible stories for you to tell!Thank you thank you thank you!!!"

WOW!  Well, I have nothing to say to follow those sweet words... so let's get to the story!

Flower girls getting all powered up to do their job: looking cute!

This was not planned, but I think it's sweet how Jessica's Dad ended up a part of the first look moment too.

David shot through the veil...

Jessica's Mom made this gorgeous broach bouquet.  Many of these broaches are from Jessica's family...

Post 2 coming tomorrow....
