Meghan and Michael invited David and I up to Roanoke to do their engagement shoot. We LOVE getting to visit new places and getting to know our couples better 
We started out at the Roanoke Star where Michael proposed to Meghan while the snow fell around them and family were there to witness on Christmas Day. I have ALWAYS loved stars so this was super exciting!
I loved getting to trek around the Hampton/Williamsburg, Virginia area with Julia for her bridal shoot. While Julia’s immediate family lives in NC, most all of her extended family is in Virginia- her parents grew up there. It is so nice to shoot in new locations- helps keep me fresh
Last fall I got the entire Burger family in front of my camera one very chilly November morning. We had a great time laughing while we were freezing, and they trusted me every step of the way. Little did I know, both of the Burger daughters would get engaged this winter with plans to be married in the fall of 2011! I was so excited to hear from both Caroline and Kimberly and could not wait to get them in front of the camera again.
This weekend I was in the Newport News/Williamsburg areas to shoot a bridal for one of our May brides, and to grab some VERY cute engagement photos with Kim and her fiance Joey. They picked the most amazing beach which happened to be fairly desolate. I loved every minute of it!
As photographers of people, we each bring who we are to the creative experience we have with you. We want to share parts of our stories with you since you so graciously share with us.
