If you follow us on Twitter or Facebook, you know David and I just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We had some flight vouchers from a messed up business flight last fall so we used them to create the honeymoon we wanted to take 5 years ago but couldn’t afford- a trip to the coast of Maine. We think being married five years (and going strong) is a big deal. There are several statistics against us… how young we were when we got married, the life events we have already weathered and had to weather in the first five years, etc. I am so proud of us for making it through these first five years. We believe it is important to celebrate these proud moments in life, no matter how big or small they might seem.
