Personal: Spring has arrived.

As I (Ashley) have mentioned on the blog before, sometimes when I just need a creative break I grab my macro lens and head outside.  I have loved doing nature macro shots since high school.  The duplex David and I live in has a GORGEOUS yard… and this spring it has been exceptionally beautiful.  This is not even all the flowers we have going on in the yard right now.

I used to not pay attention to spring.  I loved fall, I loved winter.  Spring to me was just the segue to summer and we all know what summer in North Carolina can feel like!  Just in the past couple of years I have learned to appreciate spring… all the plants waking up and showing off after a long winter.  Here’s how the plants are showing off in our yard…
