As I (Ashley) have mentioned on the blog before, sometimes when I just need a creative break I grab my macro lens and head outside. I have loved doing nature macro shots since high school. The duplex David and I live in has a GORGEOUS yard… and this spring it has been exceptionally beautiful. This is not even all the flowers we have going on in the yard right now.
I used to not pay attention to spring. I loved fall, I loved winter. Spring to me was just the segue to summer and we all know what summer in North Carolina can feel like!
