No matter where this branch of the Fuller family has lived, they always find a way to work in a family shoot with me when they are visiting family in NC. Their hope is that they will make their way back here very soon! While I have known Tripp since high school, as a family, they were some of my first SP clients so they are truly OG around here on a lot of levels…

Watch out, there are a whole lot of cute curly ladies in this family… but don’t worry, Dad won’t be totally outnumbered because baby #3 is a BOY! If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve seen this family come together and grow. If you haven’t, read more to find some past shoots with them, and see what fun took place at the end of this one!

You might remember seeing these sweet Dads last on the blog on their wedding day when they got chased by dinosaurs at the Museum of Life and Science. Now they have precious baby F in their world… and she’s already turning one year old!

This baby decided to skip her nap that afternoon so she had her dads skeptical of how she would tolerate a photoshoot but look at this girl! She was the absolute Queen of downtown Durham, waving to all her adoring fans, making intense eye contact with every dog that walked by, and very easily offering up that huge smile.

We could not stop giggling because it was all just too adorable. Happy first birthday, Baby F! Good work, Dads!

Teagan and I had so much fun dreaming together about this artist venture. I photographed Teagan years ago with his family and through Facebook saw that he had become quite the accomplished dancer. He is heading off soon to college for dance, and I just had this feeling that we needed to collaborate. I love photographing dancers. It's incredible to me the shapes they can create with their bodies, and the way they are so in tune with all their bodies are capable of.

We had talked ahead of time about what kind of location he was thinking about, what kind of outfits might work, and if there were any important props he wanted to incorporate….

This was Ashley’s first time getting to photograph these friends of friends of hers. You might not be able to tell in the photos, but y’all… Their morning shoot was COLD! There was thick, icy frost on the ground, but that did not slow these big brothers down from exploring all over the park. They stayed warm running around looking for wildlife in between being wrangled for family pictures with their precious baby sister and their awesome mom and dad.

The last time you saw the Kennedy family the kiddos were so little, and now they’re practically all grown up! We LOVED that first family shoot of theirs — their outfit choices and how all in they were. So good! So, Ashley was excited to hear from them when they wanted to do a back-to-back family and senior session with the Van Fleteren family. You see, the two moms are besties… So, we knew this would be a fun way to approach these two family shoots…
