Eeee! We’re so excited to start sharing these 2021 Fall Short Stories with y’all! We’ve had the best time with y’all shooting these. It’s so fun to catch up with your families every year and document how much they’ve changed. First up, we have our first fall mini shoot day in Raleigh with Becca from the end of October. Although most of the leaves hadn't quite turned fall colors yet, we had a gorgeous but chilly morning for photos! All of these families had little ones, who rocked their assignment with smiles!We were lucky that there was one pile of leaves next to a building and a parking lot that had some great color! Through some creative cropping/angles from Becca, we managed to make it look so good. These were some of Becca’s favorite moments from each shoot, and the kiddos loved being able to play in the fall leaves!

Y’all, this is such an exciting shoot for us to share! Amanda is Ashley’s little sister, so that baby bump is soon going to be her baby niece! Eeeee!!! We can’t wait for baby girl to make her arrival in December.Amanda and Trevor’s maternity shoot is at their new house with all of Amanda's animals. This shoot is SO THEM. Relaxed at home, surrounded by all their farm animals. We love it! Funny story from Ashley…

The Abresch family are regulars around here. We’ve had the joy of photographing their wedding, their first newborn, family minis, and now their newest addition… Baby J! Baby sister M, who is not-so-baby-anymore, is so sweet with her baby brother. We’ve found that when you’re doing a newborn shoot with an older sibling around this age, you have to keep patience and good humor on hand at all times. You just never know what’s going to happen next and have to be ready to capture those sweet moments as they come. Baby J’s nursery is just the cutest! How much do we love that wallpaper?! The woodland theme made the whole space feel cozy and fun. The perfect space for this little guy to grow up!

Fun fact: Ashley and Bobby were Becca’s last “normal” wedding before the Covid-19 pandemic changed the wedding game. She was thrilled to see them again and meet their little girl, Baby K!

At the time of her newborn shoot, this little nugget was 10 weeks old and was such a good model. She put up with all the position and outfit changes like a pro. And grandma picked a special outfit for her new granddaughter, so you know Becca had to get those photos! We also got to incorporate the high energy family pup in the family photos! He joined the whole family for porch photos between zoomies around the yard. See, even the Truskowski’s dog is excited about their newest family member!

Becca has had the joy of photographing all of the Beeson kiddos as newborns, so she was so happy to shoot Baby B after his arrival! This shoot was actually her first shoot after her own baby, Hazel, arrived. Technically, Becca was still on maternity leave at the time of this shoot, but she just couldn’t miss the opportunity to photograph Baby B for them. What can we say?! We love those precious newborns, y’all!

These kiddos always blow us away with how sweet and kind they are to each other. We love the way they cuddled their new baby brother… Especially big sis Lila! You can tell this whole family is just so in love with their newest family member.

Over the years, Ashley has gotten to know Tara and Jared, especially through their involvement at All Stories Church. This sweet couple has been hoping for this little one for a very long time. It has not always been easy, but Baby G is here now! And these two as parents?? Truly the sweetest ever. It's really fun to watch them so naturally assume the roles of mom and dad. 

We also absolutely love that they incorporated their beloved dogs and garden (which they should be very proud of) in their newborn shoot. Those personal touches in a shoot are always so nice to look back on over the years.
