Wedding Story: Melinda and Mike

David and I were so excited when Mike and Melinda's wedding rolled around on the calendar- what's not to love about a Wednesday wedding!?  In the fall?!  With two such beautiful, in love people!?!?!?  These two decided to have a small family and close friends ceremony/reception at the Rand-Bryan House and then will have a huge party in December at Seven!  Super fabulous.

NOTHING could wipe the smile (or deflate the giddiness) off Melinda's face that day- not even the rain!

The sweet anticipation of a first see...

After some family pictures... and seating the guests...

I had read about it but had yet to see it: Ring Warming.  So at the beginning of the ceremony the officiant has the rings and explains to the guests that the rings will be passed around the entire room and when they reach you, you are to either pray a blessing for the new couple or send them warm thoughts.  Then when the rings return to the front of the room, it is then that the couple exchanges them.

We LOVE to shoot weddings for friends of ours.  LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
