I loved getting to hangout with Melissa at her home to talk and take headshots for her therapy practice, Blue Monkey Counseling. I really enjoy getting to work with so many therapists and talking about photographing them. There is so much psychology in photography, and so much that a headshot can tell someone about you before they even meet you. In the end, we were able to capture a bunch of versatile looks with different backgrounds for Melissa to use based on her needs.
