This little dreamboat turned one, and his mama had the sweet idea to have me do a little mini shoot with him to celebrate and commemorate. It was a pretty chilly morning, but as you can see little man was not phased at all! He’s already getting pretty good at mini shoots with me, which is so sweet as this family are some of my most regulars…

You know I love when people create their own way…they create their own events and traditions…they shape what is most meaningful to them. The last time you saw this family on the blog, they were celebrating the baptism of Baby S in the park at the North Carolina Museum of Art. This time we are celebrating with them the baptism of Baby H in their family. This family gathers together family and close friends, out in nature, to set their intentions as parents, family, godparents, and supportive friends to raise Baby H in a particular way within this loving village. Shew! It’s just so beautiful!

Watch out, there are a whole lot of cute curly ladies in this family… but don’t worry, Dad won’t be totally outnumbered because baby #3 is a BOY! The Abresch family are regulars around here. We’ve had the joy of photographing their wedding, their first newborn, family minis, and now their newest addition… Baby J! Baby sister M, who is not-so-baby-anymore, is so sweet with her baby brother. We’ve found that when you’re doing a newborn shoot with an older sibling around this age, you have to keep patience and good humor on hand at all times. You just never know what’s going to happen next and have to be ready to capture those sweet moments as they come. Baby J’s nursery is just the cutest! How much do we love that wallpaper?! The woodland theme made the whole space feel cozy and fun. The perfect space for this little guy to grow up!

Becca has had the joy of photographing all of the Beeson kiddos as newborns, so she was so happy to shoot Baby B after his arrival! This shoot was actually her first shoot after her own baby, Hazel, arrived. Technically, Becca was still on maternity leave at the time of this shoot, but she just couldn’t miss the opportunity to photograph Baby B for them. What can we say?! We love those precious newborns, y’all!

These kiddos always blow us away with how sweet and kind they are to each other. We love the way they cuddled their new baby brother… Especially big sis Lila! You can tell this whole family is just so in love with their newest family member.
