Story Project: Trey Is A Senior!

I’m SO excited to share our first 2020 Story Project shoot and tell y’all all about the incredible Trey! I’ve been photographing Trey's mom, Alex, and her sister's families for a long time now, so I’ve been lucky enough to see all of Trey's success through social media.After Thabiso and I took pictures of the BLM murals in Downtown Raleigh, Alex reached out to me to ask where one of the murals was located. She wanted to grab some pictures of Trey with the murals for a mini senior shoot (Trey will graduate high school in December) of sorts. That’s when I offered to do these pictures for her and Trey as part of our 2020 Story Project! So, Thabiso and I met up with her and Trey one sunny afternoon to celebrate Trey's upcoming senior year and capture his story.If you can’t tell by these pictures, Trey loves football and he’s a star on and off the football field. So much so, he got offers from over 25 different colleges to come play ball with them. Trey, of course, took the entire recruiting process so seriously and is looking forward to the platform playing college football will give him to help others. (GAH! Such a sweet guy!!) Did y’all notice Trey’s t-shirt in the pictures? That was part of his announcement that he’s headed to The University of Louisville in 2021!!I think you can see it in some of these pictures… Trey has such a sparkly spirit. He's easy to be around and a fast friend with a good sense of humor. I am so proud of him and his hard work. He is someone to watch, y'all.Enjoy your senior year, Trey! We’re all cheering you on.
