Personal Story: Raleigh Story Project

Oh my goodness I (Ashley) have been so excited to start sharing this project with you all!   This past fall I had the idea to start something I call the "Raleigh Story Project".  I grew up here in Raleigh and have always loved this city.  David and I really like to try to eat and shop at locally owned and run establishments, showing support to the people that are around us-- we are proud of our city!  We both have our favorite Raleigh businesses so I decided that I wanted to contact these businesses and offer to tell their story, whatever that might look like.   It has been awesome getting to learn more about the places we love and the people that dreamed them into being.  I will be doing these shoots through out the year so it will be an ongoing project that we'll get to share with you.  If you are a Raleigh business owner and would like your story to be told, email us- storyphotographers(@)gmail.com.Next week I will be bringing you our first Raleigh Story with Holly Aiken and her fabulous store Stich... to hold you over, I wanted to share this image with you from First Friday in March.  It was a misty, foggy night... a little chilly... and yet there were still tons of people out enjoying downtown Raleigh.  It was so fun to see!

Raleigh Story Project Posts (I will update this list as I post the stories):

Holly Aiken and "Stitch"
