High School Senior Story

This senior's mama reached out to me through mutual friends to let me know she was looking for something different when it came to her daughter's senior shoot. She shared that her daughter is shy and was nervous about the whole process. We talked about what kinds of interests and location we could work into the plan to make the idea of being photographed feel more comfortable. We landed on Johnson Family Farm in Fuquay-Varina, where this gentle spirit could do her senior pictures on a quiet farm alongside horses. After making a hair and makeup stop at Michelle Clark's studio (https://www.karenmichelleclark.com), we kept the energy light and calm as we worked our way through the senior's different outfits on various spots at the farm. 

Telling me more about this senior helped me craft an experience that allowed her to be comfortable and open up, then allowing me to photograph her in a way that was truly authentic. Isn't she lovely?!
