Family Story: The Tatum Family

Tatums0027s_650Do y'all recognize the Tatum family? I’ve had the pleasure of shooting them A. WHOLE. LOT. over the years and I just adore this family. We all made, what we thought was, the initial connection when we met during our time studying at Campbell University… BUT, we soon found out that Andrew's mom and my mom were roommates during THEIR time at Campbell, and were even in each other's weddings. (Campbell connections will always remind you, it's a small world!) Lydia is one of my closest friends for years—I am so incredibly thankful for her friendship. And then, her and Andrew got married and had these amazing children! Being Aunt Ashley to these kiddos is such a gift. They are each so different, each unique in their own ways. They make me laugh, challenge me, create with me, confide in me, and just make me feel like the luckiest aunt-by-choice.This shoot was the first time the newest member of their family made it into a shoot. They had also just recently moved into their new house, and since we’re all trying to be extra safe during COVID-19 times, we decided to celebrate their beautiful new yard by doing the mini shoot right there. When you have that many people to wrangle for pictures, you gotta make it as easy as possible in the ways that you can!Congrats on your new home and the new addition to your family, Tatum’s!See more Tatum family shoots: [1]  [2]  [3]Tatums0011s_650Tatums0015s_650Tatums0021s_650Tatums0024s_650Tatums0028s_650Tatums0031s_650Tatums0049s_650Tatums0057s_650Tatums0066s_650Tatums0068s_650Tatums0072s_650Tatums0074s_650Tatums0083s_650Tatums0088s_650Tatums0115s_650Tatums0117s_650Tatums0121s_650Tatums0128s_650Tatums0132s_650Tatums0135s_650Tatums0146s_650
